Natural Spirituality Weekend – Deepening our connection with the interdependent web – Saturday, August 25th and Sunday, August 26th
(It would be very helpful for planning if you could contact Richard Hadfield with questions and your plans by Sunday, August 19: call or text, 715-218-5949 or email nsps6503@yahoo.com)
As our Wisconsin summer winds down, come nurture your spiritual grounding with the Earth over the weekend of Saturday, August 25 – Sunday, August 26 amid the naturally beautiful open spaces of Celeste and Richard Hadfield’s home and acreage. We offer a variety of ways to participate: Saturday day retreat (adults only), Saturday evening campfire and overnight, Sunday morning service followed by a pot luck and family fun fest. Join us for everything or just what you prefer.
Descriptions:
Saturday Day Retreat (adults only): Join us from 10:00-5:00 for a series of adult oriented discussions and experiences centered on supporting our connection with the Earth. We will end our day creating stepping stones or other symbols to use as “portals” to connect with our natural spirituality. Please bring food to share for a pot-luck lunch.
Saturday Overnight and Sunday Morning Breakfast: Saturday evening at 6:00 we will begin our family friendly cookout, evening hike, campfire, and camping. Please bring food to share and everything you require for camping outdoors. Breakfast is available Sunday morning. Spend your time before the service in unstructured reflection. Reach out to Richard Hadfield, (see contact information above), to inquire about a few indoor overnight options available.
Sunday Service, Pot Luck, and Fun Fest: Everyone is welcome to our casual outdoor worship service at 10:00 focused on our connection with the nature surrounding us, concluding with a pot luck meal. Please bring a dish to pass, your own beverages, and chairs. We will spend the afternoon enjoying nature, swimming, and games and wrap up by 5:00.
