Lynn Kirby was raised as a Lutheran but left that church in her 40’s. A family crisis during graduate school led her to Quakerism in a roundabout way, and the more she learned, the more she felt that she had found her spiritual home.
Bio:
Lynn grew up in Maryland and moved to Stevens Point in 1968 with her husband and two small children. She worked as a school librarian in Stevens Point for eleven years, then after grad school she taught and worked at UWSP until retirement in 2005. She is active in the LIFE program, Stevens Point Friends Meeting, and the Q Artists Cooperative.
