Come explore the meaning of trust and apply it to building relationships with teens as well as ourselves and others.
*Connor and his son, Steele, have been active participants in the Stevens Point Fellowship and friends of the Fellowship for over the past eight years. Connor was a stay-at-home dad with Steele from birth to 5.5 years of age and since then has continued to be actively involved with raising, nurturing, and supporting Steele, who is now a teenager and is in his freshman year of high school. Connor is a Licensed Professional Counselor, whose professional journey has become integrated with his personal and spiritual journey, and building trust has been a key component in that journey, especially with developing therapeutic relationships with teens, children, and adults, who have experienced interpersonal violence and adverse childhood experiences.
*Susan is a member of the Fellowship and a retired kindergarten teacher, who still works as a substitute teacher in grades 4 through 12. She volunteers as a Big Sister to a 13-year-old boy and as a Safe Mom for the LGBTQ community. Susan is also a skilled nature photographer.
